1. About this software
M8 Data is internal business management software operated exclusively by Meta Eight Ltd for its own accounting and VAT compliance purposes. It is not offered as a service to third parties.
2. Authorised use
Access is restricted to individuals authorised by Meta Eight Ltd. Authorised users may use this software solely for legitimate business purposes on behalf of Meta Eight Ltd. Unauthorised access is prohibited.
3. HMRC Making Tax Digital
This software is used to submit VAT returns to HMRC under Making Tax Digital. Users are responsible for ensuring that the data entered into the system is accurate and complete before submission. Meta Eight Ltd accepts responsibility for submissions made through this software.
4. Data accuracy
Users must ensure that financial data entered into the system is accurate. The software produces outputs based on the data provided; Meta Eight Ltd is responsible for the accuracy of data submitted to HMRC.
5. Security
Users must keep their login credentials confidential and must not share access with unauthorised individuals. Suspected security incidents must be reported to the system administrator immediately.
6. Availability
This software is provided for internal use on a best-efforts basis. No warranty is given as to uptime or availability.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
